IMPORTANT: The 2021-2022 Edition of the Local Food Guide is being produced and published by Cooperation Humboldt under the title of Community Food Guide. More info at https://cooperationhumboldt.com/food-guide/

The Local Food Guide will help you find the freshest and most delicious food grown, raised and produced on the North Coast of California. We’ve included a number of informative articles about creating and maintaining a healthy and sustainable local food system, as well as listings for local businesses and other organizations in the following categories:

Farmers’ markets and CSAs
Farm stands and U-Picks
Farms, ranches, and fisheries
Community gardens and farms
Local seed and plant sources
Restaurants serving local food
Groceries offering local good
Packaged food and beverages
Food-related events
Educational opportunities for growing, cooking and preserving food

We have made every attempt to create a complete and accurate guide. We apologize for any errors or omissions. If you see any, please email us, so that we can make the next guide even better.

This guide has been made possible by generous sponsorships from many farmers, producers, restaurateurs, grocers, and other members of the local food system and our community. We particularly appreciate the assistance provided by the North Coast Growers Association, Del Norte and Adjacent Tribal Lands (DNATL), Chautauqua Natural Foods, Eureka Natural Foods, the North Coast Co-op, and Wildberries Marketplace.

The guide is made possible by our sponsors and the generous volunteers who have provided many hours of free labor in data collection and creation of educational articles in the guide. If you would like to help sponsor, you can see details here. Payment details are included on that page.

Free copies are available for pick-up at various locations in Humboldt and Del Norte counties, including the organizations noted above.

We plan to make a web-based version of the listings from the guide available soon; in the meantime, you may download a copy of the guide here in PDF format.
